Tomorrow Building
In July of 2015, Asa Engineering & Consulting provided landscape architecture services for Artech Design Group. Specifically, Asa provided the design for a green wall along Patten Parkway. The Tomorrow Building is a solution to the need for a downtown micro-living space that offers a more communal style of living. The renovated structure includes 39 furnished, micro-unit apartments above a first floor of commercial spaces.
Allen Jones, key design and project manager on this landscape architecture project, chose to create the green wall with vine branches that would cover portions of the commercial level of the building. The vine branches were positioned into concrete planters and woven into a screens. In addition to completing the exterior design of the building, this green wall also complimented the landscape architecture of the highly anticipated completion of Patten Parkway.
