Chris Davis, P.E, CPESC
Senior Transportation Designer & Senior Project Manager
Chris is an owning partner and Transportation Engineering Descipline Leader of Asa. He brings more than 24 years of civil engineering experience, including 19 years of transportation design and project management experience on local, state, and federally funded transportation projects in Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina. Mr. Davis’s expertise lies in the geometric design of roads and highways (urban & rural), stormwater management and hydrology modeling, streetscape design, cost estimation, processing of survey data, and development of preliminary, right-of-way, and construction plans. Over the last decade, Mr. Davis has served as the Project Manager on numerous Local Programs, streetscapes, and roadway improvement projects for which he oversaw design and bidding services, contractor selection, and construction administration. He has also served as Design Engineer on several roadway design projects for the Georgia and Tennessee Departments of Transportation.
When talking about Asa, Chris says he enjoys that “Asa is that we’re a local company with local management that cares about the local community, and we’re still small enough to know everybody.”
When he’s not working, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and serving in his church. Additionally, he likes spending time working on some acreage that has been in his family for over 100 years.
